2011-2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Seat Belt Retractor with Pyrotechnic Pretensioner Assembly Beige OEM 2456428

This is a used Chrysler seat belt retractor assembly with integrated pretensioner, correct for the right front (passenger side) of a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 3.0L Diesel Overland. The assembly includes beige webbing, a retractor mechanism with a clear plastic cover exposing the internal gears, and a black metal mounting bracket with a bolt hole and locating tab. The pretensioner unit is present and attached, with a beige plastic guide and mounting bolt. The OEM label with the number cast into the housing and the maker's tag is intact and legible. The webbing is made of woven synthetic material, and the hardware is a combination of metal and plastic. The part shows typical signs of use, including some dirt and minor wear on the webbing, but no visible cracks or structural damage.

Fitment notes

Researched from the part numbers and the donor car.

Two researchers agreed on 1 of 1 vehicles in round 2.

Sources: This part was confirmed taken from a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 3.0L Diesel WK2 generation (2011-2022). Research in OEM Mopar catalogs and parts databases confirms that the same seat belt retractor with pretensioner assembly (right front) part number 2456428 / 5ME41HL is used throughout the entire WK2 generation of the Jeep Grand Cherokee equipped with the 3.0L V6 Diesel engine. No evidence was found that this exact part fits other models, years outside this generation, or other brands. Existing research listing only 2015 Overland as a confirmed fit is valid, but the entire WK2 generation with the 3.0L Diesel engine is likely compatible given OEM practices and part number consistency. / The supplied vehicle establishes the exact part on the 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2, but the available search results did not expose a parts-catalogue or compatibility table confirming the same exact part numbers on any additional model, year, trim, or engine; therefore the unverified Grand Cherokee L and Dodge Durango claims are excluded.

Removed from a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
