2011 to 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Blower Motor Resistor with Black Matte Housing and White Translucent Resistor Element OEM 68085690AB

This is a Mopar blower motor resistor, OEM version for Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 models with automatic temperature control, as indicated by the Chrysler Pentastar logo and label on the housing. The part features a black plastic body with a white translucent resistor element extending from one end, and metal mounting clips on both sides for secure installation. The label is intact and legible, confirming its authenticity. The housing and resistor element are both free from visible cracks, chips, or other damage. The finish is consistent with typical OEM parts, and there are no missing components or modifications evident in the photos.

Fitment notes

Researched from the part numbers and the donor car.

Two researchers agreed on 5 of 7 vehicles in round 2.

Sources: The fitment list is based on confirmed Mopar parts catalog listings for part number 4720278, which covers the 2015-2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 3.0L V6 Diesel (donor vehicle) and older Jeep Grand Cherokee, Grand Wagoneer and Dodge Ram models from the 1990s and early 2000s as documented consistently across dealer sites, Mopar catalogs and OEM parts distributors. Only models explicitly listed with this exact part number are included to avoid incorrect fit claims. / The available OEM catalogues and cross-reference listings identify 4720278 as an older manual-climate blower-resistor part for 1993–1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 1993 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, and mid-1990s to early-2000s Dodge Ram applications; they do not support the claimed 2015–2022 WK2 diesel fitment, and the donor description is therefore not sufficient to override the catalog evidence.
